Join us at the Zephyrhills Museum of Military History for our D-Day: Invasion of Normandy commemorative event, a special day dedicated to honoring the bravery and sacrifice of those who took part in one of the most pivotal moments of World War II.
Experience a powerful day of living history featuring reenactors, historic WWII vehicles and aircraft, and immersive displays that bring the events of June 6, 1944 to life. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the museum’s exhibits, interact with knowledgeable historians and collectors, and gain a deeper understanding of the courage and coordination behind the Normandy landings.
An opening ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM to recognize and remember the service members who participated in D-Day. While many of these heroes are no longer with us, this moment of reflection ensures their legacy and sacrifice are never forgotten.
This free, public event welcomes families, history enthusiasts, and members of the community to come together in remembrance, education, and appreciation.
If you are interested in participating in the event as a reenactor, military vehicle owner, or with a living history display, please sign up below.
