Thank You to Our Conference Sponsors

Thank You to Our Title Sponsor: In Memory of Amiel P. Zak

We are deeply grateful to Mike Zak for his generous Title Sponsorship, made in memory of his father, Amiel P. Zak, who served in the US Army 77th Infantry Division from 1942-1945. Amiel P. Zak bravely fought in Guam, Leyte, and Okinawa during World War II, and we are honored to recognize his legacy at this conference.

Thank you, Mike, for your support and for sharing the 77th Infantry Division’s patch, which will be included in our acknowledgments. Your contribution helps us preserve and share the stories of those who served.

Honoring Colonel A.W. Fisher and the Art Fisher Family’s Generosity

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Art Fisher Family for their generous donation to this conference, made in honor of the late Colonel A.W. Fisher, USMC (ret.). A decorated Marine aviator, Colonel Fisher served bravely in the Pacific Theatre during World War II, flying the F4U Corsair and surviving being shot down twice. After 26 years of active duty, he pursued a career in law, becoming a practicing attorney, public defender, and university instructor.

Colonel Fisher’s legacy continues through his son, Arthur W. Fisher III, PA, a 1962 Naval Academy graduate, former naval aviator, and dedicated attorney. A steadfast supporter of veterans and education, Arthur embodies the values his father held dear. We are deeply thankful for the Fisher family’s commitment to honoring Colonel Fisher’s memory and their support of this event.
